Today was definitely a day with more good moments than bad. This was evident in the way we were able to enjoy most of the day and how those few bad moments seemed to stand out so you noticed them, but they weren't the main focus. Kind of like the sunburn you get at the beach, or the sticker in your finger when picking blackberries; annoying, but able to be overcome.
Tonight we go to bed thankful for the progress that Elena has made and hopeful for even better days to come. We appreciate all of the love and support we receive daily and hope you know that we count you all as one of our many blessings. We would not be able to continue on this journey without you.
