Day +31

Here we are 41 days into this battle.  It's been one month since Elena's bone marrow transplant. We have said it before and we will say it again - we are weary.

Elena spiked a fever this morning. They think it might be from the IGIV (antibodies) she has been receiving.  As with all oncology kids, they started a 48 hour antibiotic as a precaution and drew labs for cultures.  Hopefully, we will know the results of those tomorrow.  Please pray that Elena does not have any type of infection.

Elena has battled nausea, leg pain, and headaches on and off all day.  She just feels plain crummy.

Please keep praying.

In Him,
The Tates

"God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day."
Psalm 46:5

  2. Hope you feel better this morning. I know you will still have bad days but they will become fewer. Try to laugh each day when you wake up. Look up some of the old comedians on you tube. I love Bob Newhart. Bill Crosby. And Phyllis Diller. They will make you bust a smile. Love you. Rainey
