Today has been a day with it's share of ups and downs. We had some good moments and some not so good moments. We laughed and we cried. We praised God for answered prayers and we questioned why new things occurred. We tried to find joy in the little things, but often had to look through sadness to find it. We are happy to have this day behind us, but even more pleased that we have each other to lean on. This is too much for anyone to handle on their own, but not too big for God. We give it all up to Him and have faith that He will see us through this.
In Him,
The Tates
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6

ReplyDeleteJust want to let you know that we at First UMC in Lawrenceville are still praying! A couple of us copied Elena's picture from the blog, printed it out, and posted it where we can see it every time we look up from our computers - and every time we see her sweet face, we lift up a prayer for her (and for all of your family). We praise God for her progress as she approaches + 1 month, and we believe God for complete healing. Blessings to you all.
ReplyDeleteprayers for you as always....can't decide if this post is good or bad....it sounds like you need God and you know that He is there...like you said..give your troubles to Him...lean on him. We all love you and pray for a better day. love, kathryn and megan
