We wanted to share a few snapshots with you.
Some of Elena's friends were able to
come and visit her this weekend.
Their visits definitely made her feel normal.
She had fun showing them around the hospital
and just hanging out.
Thank you to her friends for making her feel
normal, loved, cared for and for encouraging her!
It was so great for us to see these beautiful, wise young women giving Elena what she needs the most - her friends loving her - no matter what!
The emotional and physical needs we mentioned yesterday still continue.
Today, Elena's doctors added more medications for jaw pain and for nausea.
They also began giving her antibiotics and an anti-fugal medication as a precaution.
Please continue to pray for our family.
